An Urgent Message From the Desk of Dr. Melvin Harter   Dear Miracle Valley Supporter, I've got some truly great news to share with you immediately. The Administration Building is getting close to be completed. Just a little work to do on the hallway, finish the spackling and that is it.  Now I know you are busy, so let me give you a quick summary. Nearly eight years ago, I signed the contract to purchase Miracle Valley Bible College. God had spoken to me in my prayer closet and given me a divine mandate. I determined that I would fulfill what God had spoken to me. Since that time, Sister Harter and I have worked diligently to restore Miracle Valley because it is God’s will that Miracle Valley become an effective Christian training ministry again. Last Wednesday evening, I preached under a large gospel tent in Cibeque, Arizona. CBQ is located on the Apache Indian Reservation and this was the Apaches’ 30th Annual Camp Meeting.  I had asked the Lord as to what He would have me preach. I felt the Holy Ghost direct me to preach on “Believe God for the Impossible.”  A few weeks ago, I was troubled in my spirit, so I asked the Lord to speak to me. Immediately, my Bible opened to John 11:40 and these words seemed to jump off the page to me – “IF THOU WOULDEST BELIEVE, THOU SHOULDEST SEE THE GLORY OF GOD.”  O’ Praise God!  That was GOD SPEAKING TO ME. As I was preaching under that tent in CBQ, God began to move in a most marvelous way. An altar call was given, and a good number of people requested special prayer. A twenty-two year old girl, tears running down her face, cried out that she wanted to get saved. Two other women, showing scars across their wrists, shared how they had felt hopeless and tried to commit suicide. There was another woman in that line.  She looked to be middle-age, and she informed me that someone in witchcraft had put a spell on her and that she needed it to be broken.  There is nothing too hard for God so I laid my hand upon her and began to command the curse to be lifted.  When I laid my hand on her, she immediately did a somersauce from that ramp onto the saw-shavings that lay on the ground.  Her face was buried into the saw-shavings. I requested several people to lift her to her feet, and I continued to pray. Immediately, something began to come out of her. It was a slimming substance coming out of her mouth.  She was totally delivered by the power of God. When I discovered so many of these Indians bound by sin and the devil, I just knew that we must raise up Holy Ghost men and women for God here at Miracle Valley.  We must have the power of God in order to do what God has commanded us to do Listen to me. We can all sit in our fine homes and live a good life; nevertheless, there are millions of souls that are bound and in bondage to the devil.  Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are not able to help them.  Friend, it takes the absolute power of God for the masses to be free. The only hope for our nation is a genuine move of God. If God fails to send a revival, we are in big trouble. I am not a pessimist, nor an alarmist. If anything, I am a realist. I know what happens when people forget God. Of course, as important as each victory like this is, we understand well the battle that remains. For more than five decades Bel worshippers have embedded themselves in churches in every state, from small congregation to mega churches and attempted to turn the power of God into man-oriented, fleshy manifestations, all the while passing it off as being of God. There are men and women who have made careers out of their anti-Holy Ghost beliefs.  They are not going to give up their turf without a fight. And they will even go to any extreme to crush Miracle Valley – as it is stated on the internet, “We are here to stop what God has planned for Miracle Valley.” You see, Miracle Valley is in the business of training Holy Ghost men and women who fear nothing but God, love nothing but souls, and hate nothing but sin and the devil. These are individuals who are totally sold out to Jesus Christ and are not ashamed of the power of God. Thank God, there are still few Bible Colleges where this is true today. I have applied for a new loan for Miracle Valley. This loan will give us the additional funds needed for metal roofs for the rest of the buildings on campus. In addition, the apartment complex and the tabernacle are scheduled to be completely remodeled with this loan.  However, I need your financial help to take these two steps right now. 1.       I must continue to pay our construction workers. It costs us nearly $1,000 per week. This is not bad at all, especially when you consider there are seven workers, each one averaging about $143 per week. These individuals are hard workers and doing an exceptional job. 2.       I must pay for a new appraisal of Miracle Valley. As you know, this is always required of lenders.  The appraisal must be completed before we can obtain our loan.  Your past support has helped Miracle Valley establish an assisted living home and a childcare center! These are becoming powerful financial resources for Miracle Valley. Our staff is working hard to get a charter school opened at Miracle Valley by August 2008.  Friends, we are going to make it.  We only need a little more help at this moment. Will you help? We've budgeted $20,000 to pay our construction workers, obtain a new appraisal and purchase a few needed materials.  Following this, our loan will take care of the needed metal roofs, remodeling of the buildings, including the big tabernacle.  I hope you will take a moment to stand with me again now.
